About Me

What I like to do

Life, Learning and Logic

Learning is my true passion. I have always been curious. I am the one asking too many question because I am genuinely interested in people, what drives them and how they came to be who they are.

It is no surprise that this led me to become an engineer – I love to solve problems. I commit fully to everything I do, always investing myself entirely in the outcome.

For a long time, I thought I lacked the kind of “passion” shown by musicians or artists who dedicate their lives to mastering a singular craft.  As I became older (and wiser) I realized my passion was never missing. It is simply broader: it is a passion for life itself, for friendship, for continuous learning, and for the simple, satisfying challenge of solving challenges. This realization is what drives this blog.

Baking

Baking is an art that connects tradition and creativity. From warm homemade bread to sweet pastries, every recipe carries the love and stories of generations.

Business

Turning passion into success! Whether it’s sharing recipes, music, or culture, every idea has the power to grow into something meaningful and inspiring.

Music

I love music and appreciate the gifted musicians who create songs and lyrics that move me. To me, good music transcends genre, age, or style. As my favorite classical station, KMFA 89.5, says—’on key and offbeat’—I enjoy discovering new artists.

Traditions

Traditions are the heart of who we are—they connect us to our roots, our family, and our culture. Through food, music, and shared rituals, we keep the spirit of our heritage alive and create memories that last for generations.

My Story

Meet Maria, Engineer, Entrepeneur, Enthusiast (EEE)

My story is about a lifelong pursuit of knowledge, a constant drive to explore everything possible. I didn’t realize the power of knowledge as a child, but it’s undeniably true.

My maternal grandmother, a woman of many talents, inspired me to be resourceful. She taught me to use a pedal sewing machine when I was seven years old, and I managed to create some clothes for my dolls. I used to loved to watch her bake. She made her signature orange cake so often, she didn’t need a recipe, unlike me.

What defines me is my love for learning. I believe you can always learn more, even about stuff you think you know inside and out.

My life has been shaped by the inspiration of family, like my grandmother and my father, and by the resilience, kindness, and generosity I’ve learned from others.

Simple daily activities bring me happiness. I thrive on the creative outlets of cooking, baking, writing, dancing, and singing. I celebrate the small pleasures life offers and I hope this space encourages you to do the same.
